This is team 508's movie graph. On this graph it shows who likes what movie more. We have a selection of Minions, Inside out, or the Good Dinosaur. -Rylee and Amanda by Rylee Hamp & Amanda Meinert The January Community Circle was led by Team 508. Three teammates, Brady, Jack, and Dan, were sharing how they Put First Things First. Jack said, “I clean my room before I go outside to play with my dog.” Dan said, “I get home and do my homework, have my mom sign my agenda, and then, check my cat’s food and water dish, and then I play.” Brady said, “I get home and pack my hockey bag so I am ready to get picked up for hockey so then I can play on my iPad.” Ten people made two skits. One skit was about finishing homework first then going out to fish with friends. Connor Brizendine, Erin Brannstrom and Amanda Meinert were playing the kids who asked their friends Tristan Blackmun and Lena williams to go fishing, they politely declined and said after they were finished with homework they would come. The other skit was about finishing homework they got when they missed a day of school. Shayna Crum and Rylee Hamp played the kids who were finishing homework from the day they missed. James Romyak, Alexis Branham and Amelia colosky played the kids who were asking to come out to play at recess, they also politely declined and finished their homework. The rest made some very neat posters. The person from Team 508 that won the award was Rylee Hamp. She won an award for Putting First Things First and staying in and doing the class agenda before going outside . It was a very exciting experience and we hope we can do it again sometime.
by Rylee and Amanda I hope that you found your summer a refreshing break. The Hawkins family enjoyed it as much as we could, this included a lot of time Up North being with family and friends. Highlights included Olivia and Landon's first trip to Mackinac Island and a camping trip across the Upper Peninsula with many beautiful days on Lake Superior!
Now it is time to get prepared for another great school year....I look forward to getting to know everyone soon as we embark on a 5th grade journey! -Mr. Hawkins |
